The Allamanda Beach Hotel is located on the south coast of Barbados just 20 minutes from the airport. This self contained beachfront hotel is close to bars, restaurants and nightclubs as well as being opposite Hastings Plaza which is great for duty free shopping. Some of the islands best snorkelling is at the famous Rockley Beach, which is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. There are good transport links as it is located on the main bus route and a Taxi service is available.

The hotel has 50 rooms all with balconies and beautiful ocean views, some of which overlook the pool as well as the ocean. The hotel has its own swimming pool, restaurant and beach bar. There's a free shuttle bus to its nearby sister hotel Amaryllis Beach Resort, a 150 room 4 star property located on the fabulous Palm Beach in the Garrison Historic area with safe swimming, excellent snorkelling and free non-motorised water sports. These facilities are also available to Allamanda guests. Guests can choose to dine at either resort. This is the perfect destination for all types of holidaymakers and with the use of both resorts, there is something to suit everyone.

Building Work
Please be advised that the Barbados Government have launched a Beach Improvement Project. The project is divided into several phases, the beach in front of Allmanda being in phase one. Construction of the section of the boardwalk directly in front of and to the east of the hotel has been completed with only the landscaping part to be done. Work is still taking place on the west side of the property. The entire project is not due to be completed until Aug 2008, when the beach will be open to the public.

The Allamanda Beach Hotel will remain fully operational for the duration of the project and will be offering a frequent shuttle to the Amaryllis Beach Resort daily.
